この写真は、身のまわりにある『透明なる物たち』に光をあて、その反射・屈折・透過する光をとらえた作品です。ふだん見慣れた物が、全く違う表情を示し、まるで宇宙の彼方から届く光をじっと見つめる観測者のような気分で製作しました。

These pictures were produced by applying a light on to the everyday “transparent objects”, and by capturing reflection, refraction, and penetration of the light. The ordinary objects showed me the side which they have never showed me before, and I photographed them feeling like an observer staring at the light sent from across the universe.
