20年間放置していた「作品」が気になって手を加えました。ナイフを使って黙々と削り取るという作業を続けましたが、何故かとても気持ちの良い日々でした。出来上がってきたものは、何だか壁の染みにも見える様な代物でして、「作品」と言えるかどうか・・・。ただ、作業の日々の気持ち良さの記憶を今も留めているので、展示させていただこうと思ったのです。

I left this work untouched for twenty years until I decided that it called for a continuation.The days I spent concentrating on shaving my work with a knife, I somehow found them very gratifying.Now that it is completed, it sort of resembles a patch of damp on a wall, and I’m not certain if it can be described as a work of art…　But I still remember how good I felt during those days I spent creating it, and that’s the reason I wish to have it exhibited.
