幼い頃から生活の中に花があった。彼女の華やかな表情に凛とした空気をまといプライドを持って存在感を示している姿が、私を優しくする…。戒める…。癒す…。花がない生活は私の中で充足感に欠ける。
花の姿は、自然の造形の妙。見るほどにその不思議な造形に引きつけられる。しかし鉛筆を手にしたとき、その姿を借りて私流に消化された姿しかなく、鉛筆の暖かみのあるモノトーンと最小限に施された色彩とが私流に華を添える。
彼女たちのプライドが伝えられたら…、と思う。

Flowers have been a part of my life since I was a child. The stateliness I see in their majestic beauty and seeing such stance makes metender-hearted… It admonishes me, and heals me… For me, a life without flowers will be somewhat empty.
The shapes of flowers are mysterious works of the nature. I am enchanted by its artistic splendour every time I look into one. But the figures drawn by my hand are only the reflection of my understandings; my way of expressing the attraction with the pencil’s monotonous warmth and a touch of colours.
I wish to pass the true pride of flowers on to you.
