紙は、われわれの暮らしの中に無くてはならない存在である。でも、今日は少し考えを転換させてみようと思う。紙は、字を書くもの、何かを包むもの・・・
誰も考えてもみなかった、紙を縫うという行為をあえて実行してみた。すると、予想もしなかった世界がそこには開け、その虜（とりこ）になってしまった。
はたして、何が生まれるというのだろうか？　いや、これといって何も生まれはしない。それでもこれは、うれしい出来事である。

Papers play an essential role in our lives. We write on papers, wrap things with papers… But what if we change our point of view slightly?
So, I did something nobody ever thought of; I sewed papers. And I was amazed to find what I found, and I became enthralled by it.
What have I created? Well, nothing special. Still, it was a pleasant discovery for me.
