ワタシは、動植物、蟲（むし）などのフォルムや生態を観察するのが好きです。一見小さく見える世界の中にこそ、物事の本質があるように思えてならないのです。山の麓に移住したのも、四季折々に出会う自然界の小さな世界にたくさん触れたかったからかもしれません。
ある日、ヒトと出会い港へ出掛けました。そして、港でヒトに出会いました。港に集うヒトたちの面持ちはそれぞれに興味深く、朝靄の中に見えぬドキドキがあるように、港にはまだ見ぬドラマが待ち構えていました。港に立ち、感じたコトをカタチにしました。出会いと出来事にわくわく、ドキドキしながら。

I enjoy studying animals, plants, insects, and their shapes and the ways of their lives. The seemingly small world they live in is where I believe the real nature can be found. Perhaps that’s why I moved to a mountain base; to live close to the natural world and be able to feel the seasons changing.
One day I met up with a person and together we went to a port. At the port we met more people. The looks on their faces were diverse and intriguing, and as a morning mist mysteriously hides away what is there to be seen, the port had an unseen drama prepared for me. I stood at the port and turned my feelings into objects, my heart pounding from the expectation of adventures and the people yet to be met.
